About

Deliberate, intentional, observable, A.I.

The range of a firm. The focus of a partner. One promise.

The philosophy

The pace and scale of the AI industry is overwhelming — even for teams that are very good at what they do. Every week brings a new model, a new tool, a new reason you’re supposedly already behind. It can feel like the only options are to gamble on something half-understood, or to freeze and watch everyone else move.

I don’t think those are the real options. The teams I work with have something worth protecting: the trust of their customers and the reliability their business runs on. My job is to help them take meaningful, logical steps into AI — steps that compound — without ever putting that trust at risk. AI you can’t control isn’t an advantage; it’s a liability. I help you build the kind you can.

And because the landscape keeps shifting, the work doesn’t end at delivery. The teams I work with stay connected to someone who’s watching what’s coming next on their behalf — so they’re never the last to know when something changes.

The practice

Atlas-Volta is the European arm of EIDG, my AI advisory practice. I built it on nine years of senior delivery across complex software, hardware, and systems work.

It has never been a body shop, and it has never been about vendor lock-in. Every system I build is one your team can run independently — no hidden dependencies, no contracts that require my involvement to keep the lights on. What I offer instead is partnership: a senior technical advisor who stays close to your business, watches the AI landscape on your behalf, and is there when something changes or a new opportunity opens up. You stay independent. I stay engaged. Both, deliberately.

How the engagement works

Most engagements start with an intensive build — typically two to six weeks — where we deliver a working system your team owns and operates. From there, most clients move into an ongoing advisory relationship: a senior technical partner on retainer, available for the questions, opportunities, and shifts that come up as the AI landscape evolves. The build gives you independence. The retainer keeps you ahead.

Where the depth comes from

Nine years across hard domains.

I’ve shipped in domains where getting it wrong has consequences. That track record is why an AI roadmap from Atlas-Volta is grounded in delivery, not slideware.

The operator

An American operator, based in the Algarve.

I’m Jason Kuczek. The combination is deliberate: deep fluency in the frontier AI ecosystem, paired with a base inside Europe.

Working from Portugal means understanding what American consultants miss — the EU AI Act, GDPR-aware architecture, data residency, and the real pace of European business — while still moving at frontier velocity. And the question every careful buyer should ask: how does one person deliver like a firm? The honest answer is the same AI-forward workflow I’d build for you — that’s how you get a senior relationship and real delivery without a big firm’s overhead.

The promise

“The goal isn’t to make you reliant on me. It’s to make you confident enough to want me around for what’s next.”

Work with me.

If that approach fits how you want to build, let’s talk.
